In this perspective, ViaVia Antwerp aims at constant high quality at reasonable prices, served in an amiable setting. Simple but tasty food. Not lobster or caviar but fresh products prepared with love and creativity.
Music from all over the world, sometimes live. A party every now and then, a fire basket around Christmas, a guitar, a violin. Young talent and experienced performers, for a nickel in their hat. Language courses and dance classes, meetings and presentations in the conference room.
How to get there?
To diminish our ecological footprint, to avoid drunk-driving and to evade parking problems and frustration, we strongly recommend public transport. You can take a train to the central station, then take tram 10 or 11 in the direction of Melkmarkt and 10 minutes later you arrive in ViaVia Antwerp!
For those who prefer coming by car:
Take exit 14 on the Ring. You will then find yourself on the Britse Lei, which after a while turns into the Frankrijklei. After 1.5 km turn left in the Bourlastraat, where tram 7 also goes to the left. Keep on driving and pass a statue at your right hand. Take this street and drive along the botanical garden and the Bourla theatre. Turn to the right at the traffic lights.
At the next traffic lights, cross the big shopping street, Meir, and keep to the right, go right again at the next traffic light. Now you are in the Kateliijnevest. The Wolstraat, where ViaVia is located, is now the street to the left at the second traffic lights. But please pay attention: It is a one way street. You cannot drive into it and you will not be able to park in the street either, so keep on driving straight ahead, into the Minderbroedersrui. Here you will most definitely find a place to park your car, if not, keep on driving until you are at the quay. From there, it is a 5-minute walk to ViaVia.
Opening hours
Monday to Saturday open from 11.30 a.m. until the last customer leaves, on Sundays from 3 p.m. The kitchen is open all day till 10.30 p.m. during the weekends, during the week we take a siesta from 3 p.m. till 5 p.m.
